I'm not sure how well this will work for my gift and home decor business but I'm sure it will help with the affiliate marketing I'm just starting to work with. As you can see I do have my own website for gifts, home decor items and I sell novelty items as well, my biggest problem is figuring out the best keywords to use to advertise because I carry over 3200 items in my catalog, the website I have won't accept that many images and descriptions, so I do have a place on each product page for visitors to request a full size catalog so they can see all the wonderful items I have. However I also have a checkout page just for those ordering from the catalog, so they don't have to send a check or money order and then wait for me to get their order by mail. Ordering from the website is so much faster, their items are shipped within a couple of days and they should expect it to be delivered in about 14 business days from the day it is shipped. Just thought I'd tell you a little about the business I'm in. I have one difficulty and that is no cash to work with for advertising and it is driving me crazy,but I Will find a way.
